With its space-age design, this galactic skyscraper is one of Osaka’s most striking landmarks. With so much to see in the city, our tour guide added this lesser known attraction to our itinerary, and I’m glad that they did! Otherwise there is a chance I would have skipped this for more popular landmarks in our short stay in Osaka.

While the building may not be in the tallest of its competitors, its not even in the top 10 highest buildings. barely reaching 200m. The ‘floating garden’ observation deck cannot be missed. The twin buildings are connected by two escalators, at the top, offering a unique glance at some architecture and engineering. The deck itself spans both towers at the summit, and provides a full 360 degree vantage point of the grand city, and on a clear sunny day like the day I went, you get some spectacular sights.
This was definitely a great stop on our tour of the city, and if your in the neighborhood, be sure to pop by! Some more photos are below, for those who want a closer look!
