Nestled along the coast just south of Tokyo, only a 30 minute train journey away, Kamakura is a city where history, nature, and culture intertwine in a vibrant tapestry. Kamakura has something for everyone from ancient shrines, quaint countryside scenery and the amazing coastal vistas. The only way to enjoy the full splendour of the cosy coastal town is to ride the idyllic Enoden Line train, which provides the backdrop to some of the most stunning photos you could shoot! Though we couldn’t explore the forests and bamboo groves to the east, we got plenty time to discover the calming seaside spots along the entire line heading out west.
