Nestled in the heart of Copenhagen, Rosenborg Castle is a majestic time capsule that takes you on a journey through Denmark’s royal history. As you step inside this stunning Renaissance castle, it’s easy to imagine the grandeur and intrigue that surrounded the Danish monarchy centuries ago. From its ornate halls to its treasure-filled chambers, Rosenborg Castle is not just a building — it’s a living storybook of kings, queens, and the treasures that once symbolised the kingdom’s power.
This was a trip from way back when, 2016. Yes, that was eight years ago….So I can’t say I recall much of this visit! But the Danish capital such such a lovely getaway from the non stop hive of activity that is London. The castle itself is located in a cosy corner of the Copenhagen, with a splendid garden enveloping the royal grounds. So make sure to take your time to explore the full grounds, you won’t be disappointed.
