The Red City of Marrakech is famous for its rooftop culture, whether it’s cafés, restaurants, or bars, there’s always a terrace waiting to be discovered. During our stay in the Moroccan city, we checked into a lovely traditional riad tucked away deep within the winding medina.
One café we found ourselves passing frequently was Mandala Society. With its polished wooden design, it immediately stands out from its surroundings and draws you in with its calm, stylish atmosphere.
The rooftop is undoubtedly where you’ll want to be, especially when the sun is shining and the skies are blue. Luckily, we managed to grab a table, giving us the perfect opportunity to slow down, take a break, and soak in the stunning views around us. The menu is quite extensive, offering all the usual barista made favorites. However, with the African heat in full force, we opted for an affogato, a scoop of gelato topped with freshly poured espresso. It was the perfect choice for a hot afternoon. This is a must if youve never had the pleasure of trying this!
Mandala Society is definitely worth a visit if you’re staying in the center of Marrakech. They accept card payments too, so there’s no need to worry about carrying enough local currency. Be sure to check it out on your next visit!
